Yes, people? rarely blame themselves. It’s a common trait. They always look for something or someone else to blame to justify their reactions. Especially when the outcome is a bit rough. We have a section in the program that helps them deal with this trait.They feel much better for it too. Makes for much better relationships with those whom they have hurt when under the influence.
Alcohol in and? of itself is not bad or evil, but all people are different, and not all people know when to stop, people have different tolerance levels, and it can be easy to become addicted to without realizing that it has become a major problem.

There is? a lot to be said about someone with experience with drug addiction. They know what it takes to break the addiction.., they know what works and what does not work. Those of us who think we know what to do have no idea compared to those who have lived through it.
Yes you are quite right on that. We call a success a graduate who stays clean for years after AND starts? living a productive life. In other words make their own way through ther own efforts like a job they like of or more. many start businesses.
Rehab centers that claim all kinds of success rates can be confusing. The key to finding out which ones make sense is to see what they consider to be a success. In other? words, do they feel that someone simply completing their program is a success?
Yes it? can, but only after you have got off the drugs first.That takes a bit more work I’m afraid, but well worth the effort.
