Yes! You can absolutely do things that will increase the likelihood of your success at drug rehab. Bring your favorite books, a journal and pen, pictures of family members. Make sure things are taken care of at home -pets, mail, job details, family and friends -so that you don’t have to worry about anything while you are gone. Then focus on yourself. Give yourself permission not to worry about anything in the past and focus on what’s happening right here and right now in drug addiction treatment.
