MusiCares: Remembering Jim Morrison

MusiCares: Remembering Jim Morrison – www.musicares.org From the untrained beginnings as a roadie for the Doors, Bill Siddons remembers his experiences with Jim Morrison and his varied drug use. Tales of Jim Morrison’s excessive use of alcohol and acid sometimes seem to glamorize the life of a “rock and roll star”, but also were a direct cause of his death. Bill’s attempts to manage the Doors and Jim, was a challenge as Jim Morrison did everything to the extreme. MusiCares® acknowledges that a vital part of addiction recovery is support and aftercare services. The implementation of recovery support groups help ensure that MAP Fund clients are receiving the tools that they need in order to maintain a clean and sober lifestyle and not end up like Jim Morrison. Please help MusiCares continue with this important work. Learn how at MusiCares.org Find us on Facebook www.facebook.com and follow us on Twitter @MusiCares.
