You know who else had it tough? The people these people killed. They don’t get a helping hand or a second? chance. Those who were forced to enlist and only killed to protect, they may deserve compassion. But those who killed strangers for money or adventure earned what nightmares they have, and should feel grateful to wander the streets at all.

I did not serve, but know and am friends with guys who did (Iraq). And while I can’t speak to what they went through, I can listen? to what they experienced. Sometimes, it’s a simple task like that that goes a long way.

God Bless all who served, men & women, of any war, and those who serve today. Blessings on Mr. Goeckeritz, too, for making this excellent documentary and sharing the stories of these brave guys.
